Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective date: 11 May 2026
1. 7-day full refund window
You may request a full refund of your initial payment within 7 calendar days of your first successful paid charge, for any reason, no questions asked.
- When the clock starts.At the timestamp of your first successful paid charge (Razorpay’s subscription.activated or chargedevent), measured in IST. Seven calendar days — not business days. A charge at 14:30 IST on 11 May means the window closes at 14:30 IST on 18 May.
- “Initial payment” means the first ever paid charge on your account. It is not a fresh window per plan change, nor per renewal. If you sign up free, then pay for Individual, then upgrade to Family two months later, only the very first Individual charge opens the window. The Family upgrade charge does not open a new one.
- “Any reason” means no questions asked. No winback flow, no support call required.
- “Full” means the entire amount paid, with no deductions. No prorating for days used inside the window. Add-on member slots purchased in the same transaction are refunded too.
- Once per account, lifetime. If you refund and later resubscribe (same account), the second subscription does not open a fresh 7-day window.
- After the refund posts.Your subscription is cancelled immediately (not at period-end — that is the separate cancellation flow described below). Your account reverts to Free and paid features are gated, but all your data — family members, brokers, transactions, historical computations — is preserved untouched.
- Processing timeline. We initiate the Razorpay refund within 1 business day of receiving your email; Razorpay then takes 5–10 business daysto settle funds back to your original payment instrument. That second leg is Razorpay’s SLA.
Edge cases:
- Failed-payment retries — the 7 days start at the first successful charge, not the first attempted one.
- Free plan time before paying — irrelevant. Time spent on Free doesn’t count toward or against the window.
- Mid-cycle plan switches inside the window — the original 7-day window from your first paid charge still applies, and refunding cancels both subscriptions.
2. How to request a refund
Email support@vriddhiq.com from your registered email address, with the subject line:
Refund request — <your Razorpay subscription ID>
You can find your Razorpay subscription ID in your most recent receipt email, or under Profile → Billing after signing in.
We acknowledge within 1 business day and process the refund within 5–10 business days back to your original payment method.
3. What is not refundable
- Renewals after the 7-day window from that renewal’s charge date.
- Mid-cycle plan changes (Individual → Family is charged in full, with no credit for unused Individual time — see Terms Section 10).
- Add-on member slots that have been used during the period.
4. Cancelling auto-renewal
You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from Profile → Billing.
After cancellation, your paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period; thereafter your account reverts to the Free plan. Your data is never deleted on cancellation or expiry— only write actions and paid features (additional brokers, F&O, prior years, CSV export) are gated.
5. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we will retry per Razorpay’s standard schedule and notify you by email. Your account moves to past due status during retries; if payment is not recovered, the account reverts to Free at the end of the current period.
6. Account deletion is separate
Deleting your account (Profile → Danger Zone → Delete account) is different from cancelling your subscription. Account deletion permanently erases all your data immediately and is irreversible.
Deleting your account does not by itself entitle you to a refund outside the 7-day window described above.
